Ben earned an MFA in Digital Arts at Bowling Green State University and a BFA in Computer Animation at Ringling College of Art + Design. He earned a BS in Environmental Design/Architecture at Texas A&M University. He also spent a year at the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University.

Ben has taught courses in computer animation since 2010. Prior to teaching, Ben was a contributing animator on Open Season 3, Looney Shortz, Webosaurs, & DC Universe at Reel FX Creative Studios in Dallas, TX. He also worked on projects for Baylor College of Medicine as an animator at Illusion Studio, Inc. in Houston, TX.

Ben is now focusing his energies on creating an animated web series that addresses the injustices people experience in the world today. Outside of work and school, Ben loves playing chess, swimming, serving in his church, and jamming on his saxophones.
